On 4 October 2018 the Chief Consultants of the Departments of International Connections and Legal Analysis of Mission Valeria Pakhomova and Ruslan Seidametov participated in All-Ukrainian Youth Forum of NATO.
The participants of the Forum were the Vice Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush Tsyntsadze, the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Ihor Zhdanov, the Director of the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine Victoria Tsyeminite and more than 90 representatives of civil society institutions, working with youth, of the youth centers, of the students self-government, youth activists.
The goal of the Forum was to begin the systemic process of the reliable information about the NATO activity to be disseminated among the Ukrainian youth. The priority of the Forum was to establish the network of organizations training the leaders, who could organize such events in their regions and first of all to spread such information among the youth.
During the event, a presentation on the goals and tasks of the NATO activity was held. Current global threats in the sphere of informational security were discussed as well as the cooperation between the NATO and Ukraine in the context of achievements and prospects. A special attention was paid to further trends in Ukrainian foreign policy, particularly in the issues of counteracting of Russia’s aggression and de-occupation of Crimea.
