On 17 September 2018 the public discussion “Three Seas Initiative” was organized by Kyiv Analytical Center “New Europe” within the framework of Three Seas Initiative Summit, held in Bucharest (partners block of Baltic, Black and Adriatic Seas, including 12 countries of Central and East Europe). Among the attendants to discuss the European integration of Ukraine was the Head of the Department of International Connections Yevhen Samuha. The speakers were Kristian – Leon Tsurkanu, the Ambassador of Romania in Ukraine, Thomash Buyko, the representative of the Embassyy of Poland in Ukraine, Ostap Kryvdnyk, a Special Political Advisor in Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Markian Lubkovsky, the Ukrainian diplomat.
The discussed issues concerned the opportunities for Ukraine within the Project and the common approach of our country to “Three Seas Initiative”. Foreign diplomats of the State – members determined the priorities and prospects for Ukraine as a monitor and in the consequence as a full member of European unity, emphasizing its economic and infrastructural aspect within EU aimed to promotion of cooperation and providing economic, transport, tele-communicational and other kind of assistance to our state. However, Russia actively prevents Ukraine to be involved into “Three Seas Initiative” via the certain state – members of the Project, turning it into the political alliance.
