Emphasize, that since the beginning of occupation water supply to Crimea has been discontinued. In accordance with the rules of the International law the occupying state is responsible for the safety and welfare of the people, residing in the occupied territory.
Ukraine is obliged to protect the interests of its own citizens including those who have to live on the temporarily occupied territory. However, water supply from the Ukraine-controlled territory can reduce pressure on the occupying state. This will result in delay of the moment of de-occupation and continuation of persecution and repressions against our citizens by the Russian occupying authorities.
