Occupants’ systemic repression against the Crimean Tatar People

The so-called “security forces” made illegal searches of two Crimean Tatars Dzhambaz Muhsin and Ismail Ramazanov on January 23rd. According to the report of activists of the public organizations “Crimean solidarity” in the result of search of home of Ismail Ramazanov in the town of Novyi Svit the following items were taken: phone, tablet, Ukrainian documents and alleged to be more than 20 ammo “Occupants’ systemic repression against the Crimean Tatar People”


Attempt to annex Crimea as a part of war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in new PACE resolution

On January 23rd, 2018 the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe approved the Resolution 2198 (2018) on the Humanitarian Consequences of the War in Ukraine, dedicated to the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and corresponding events on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in Crimea and the East. “Attempt to annex Crimea as a part of war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in new PACE resolution”



Meeting on the issues of organization of activities on the provision of passport services

On January 24th, 2018 the Office of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea held a meeting to resolve the urgent issues in organization of activities and arrangement of new workplaces for administrators of the Centers for Administrative Services under the chairmanship of the acting Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Izet Hdanov. “Meeting on the issues of organization of activities on the provision of passport services”





Statement by the Spokesperson of the European External Action Service related to Crimea

On January 19th, 2018, the Spokesperson of the European External Action Service, Maya Kosanich, made a statement on the situation with human rights on the Crimean peninsula on behalf of the Foreign Policy Office of the European Union. The statement condemns the “verdict” of the occupying authority to the opponent of the illegal annexation of Crimea, Volodymyr Baluch and detention of the Crimean Tatar activist Bekir Deghermenjee by the occupants, and demands the immediate provision of necessary medical aid to the activist.

In the statement of the European External Action Service, the EU requires from aggressor state to provide a full, free and unhindered access to the peninsula for the international Human Rights observers, and expects the release of all illegally imprisoned citizens of Ukraine on the illegally annexed Crimea as soon as possible. In this statement the EU repeatedly confirms the maximum application of the policy of the Union regarding the non-recognition of illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol.

Congratulations on the occasion of the Day of Unity and on the Day of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea

Congratulations to all the citizens of Ukraine residing in the occupied Crimea or internally displaced persons from the peninsula on the Day of Unity on the occasion of the unification of Eastern and Western Ukraine in 1919 and on the Day of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as the beginning of the restoration of Crimean autonomy as part of the Ukrainian State in 1991. “Congratulations on the occasion of the Day of Unity and on the Day of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”
