Today Ukrainian people honour the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, who changed the course of history and became the examples of human and national courage, strong persistence and dedication of the Ukrainian society in the protection of the ideals of the democracy and Ukraine’s European future.
On the 20th of February the Russian Federation began the armed aggression against Ukraine, showed a strong desire to abolish Ukrainian sovereignty and enslave the multimillion nation.
Ukraine managed to collect and present to the European Court of Human Rights a great amount of evidence that Russia had been actively preparing for the Ukraine’s occupation, particularly the Crimean Peninsula, even before the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity in 2013.
Today Ukraine managed to consolidate the international community and gain its clear and sustainable support in the rebutting the aggressor. The restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine is a responsible duty to compatriots, who are waiting for Ukraine on the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The act of bravery of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, which had forever imprinted in the memory and hearts, gave fateful, historical chance to revive the Ukrainian independence and to build a strong, united and indivisible European country.
Honour and great respect to the Heavenly Hundred Heroes!
