Ukrainian political prisoner Oleksandr Steshenko has been released

The Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea Anton Korynevych met with the released political prisoner of the Kremlin from Kharkiv Oleksandr Steshenko, who was detained in April 2018 by the occupying authorities of Crimea. He was sentenced illegally to two years of imprisonment for allegedly burning down the house of the Crimean mufti Emirali Ablaev.

Anton Korynevych expressed the hope, that law enforcement bodies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea will make an appropriate legal assessment of the human rights violations and military crimes, committed by the occupying authorities in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The educational centers “Crimea is Ukraine” of the Kherson State University, the Kherson National Technical University, the Kherson State Agrarian University, the Kherson State Maritime Academy, Kherson branch of the National Shipbuilding University, named after Admiral Nakhimov are open from 03 June until 27 September.

The youth from Crimea are reminded, the “diplomas” and other “educational certificates”, issued on the temporarily occupied territory of AR of Crimea are not recognized and they are considered illegal by Ukraine and other countries of the world.
