Meeting with the head of the consular and legal division of the Embassy of Germany in Ukraine

On 17 May 2019 the First Deputy of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Izet Gdanov met with the head of the consular and legal division of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine Jens Kraus-Masse during his working visit to Kherson region to monitor the situation of IDPs and residents of occupied AR of Crimea “Meeting with the head of the consular and legal division of the Embassy of Germany in Ukraine”




Commemorating the victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.

“We have to remember. Even today in Crimea, the occupying authorities implementing methods of hybrid deportation destroy the Ukrainian people including Crimean Tartars and ethnic Ukrainians, forcing them to leave their motherland as it happened in 1944”, Izet Gdanov said at the presentation of exhibition of artists from Genitchesky district.

The exhibition “Our Crimea”, devoted to 75th anniversary of the Crimean Tartars deportation is held at Oles Honchar Kherson regional universal scientific library until the end of May


The law on the state language has been signed!

The President Petro Poroshenko signed the law “On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state”. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy, parliamentary representatives and the public.

Today is the fifteenth of May. It is a great pride and a great honor for me being a President of Ukraine to sign the Law of Ukraine “On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state”.  I put a signature on a well-balanced language law”, Petro Poroshenko said.

The President emphasized that this law “in no way affects any language of national minorities living in Ukraine”.


Meeting on events to be held on 18 May, the Remembrance Day of the Crimean Tatars’ Genocide

On 13 may 2019 in the Kherson State Regional Administration, a working group met to resolve issues regarding the commemorative events to be held on 18 May, the Remembrance Day of the Crimean Tatars’ Genocide. The meeting was headed by Dmytro Butriy, the acting head of the Kherson Regional State Administration and Izet Hdanov, the First Deputy of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in AR of Crimea with the participation of the self –governmental authorities, officials of the regional departments and Mejlis of Crimean Tatars People “Meeting on events to be held on 18 May, the Remembrance Day of the Crimean Tatars’ Genocide”
