On 19 November 2020 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea participated at the 13th virtual session of the UN Forum on Minority Issues (Geneva), highlighting “Incitement to hatred by social media against Crimean Tatars, ethnic Ukrainians and religious minorities by the occupying authorities in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol

Aggressive policy, provided by Kremlin to incite hatred on ethnic and religious grounds. In order to put an end to human rights violations in Crimea, of course, it was necessary to de-occupy the territory and return it under the control of Ukraine. It includes maintaining and increasing sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation and facilitating access by international monitoring mechanisms to the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimean peninsula”, Anton Korynevych stated.
