On 12 October a leadership Mission’s team of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea Anton Korynevuch and the deputies Darya Svyrydova and Tamila Tasheva met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Ukraine Mrs. DRAGICA PONORAC

In addition to issues relating to the violation of human rights, the problems of the militarization of Crimea and Black Sea region, the gradual colonization of the peninsula and the replacement of the population, the meeting covered the observance of the rights of children and the crimes of the Russian Federation involving children in paramilitary formations; unlawful recruitment into the Russian army; the question of harm to the environment, incitement against the Ukrainian Church; violation of the rights of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people.

An important component of the meeting was also the sanctions regime, the preservation of the vector of the expansion of sanctions by Ukraine’s partners, and the consistent policy of non-recognition established by the United Nations General Assembly resolution of March 2014. A special attention paid to new challenges related to the restriction of citizens’ right to freedom of movement by the occupying «bodies».
